TAU-1E.IP access gateways designed for voice and fax transmission over IP networks by Н.323, SIP/SIP-T, MGCP, H.248/MEGACO protocols. Device designed on base of TranSwith company chip. Gateway provides voice traffic prioritization (QoS).

Functions

Device supports: H.323, SIP,MGCP, H.248/MEGACO protocols, G.711 (a-law/μ-law), G723.1 (5,3/6,3 kbps), G.726, G.729 (A, B) IP-telephony audio codec, echo cancellation function, voice activity detection function, comfort noise generation function and DTMF-signals receiving function.

Fax transmitted by T.38 protocol and G.711 pass-through audio codec. TAU-1E.IP can be used as access router. Device supports following services: Internet, VoIP, IPTV; for each service it is possible to configurate WAN and LAN ports IP-addresses, tagged/untagged mode and other parameters. Gateway bandwidth under traffic transmission from WAN to LAN is up to 90 Mbps.
